MANUAL HONEY EXTRACTORS
Some of our most interesting new features concern the honey extractor range. Many of our extractors’ construction characteristics have been updated, which has also implied changes to their identification codes.
For correct item identification, please order by quoting the two letters following the numerical code, too.
The material used to make the tank, is AISI 304 stainless steel polished to a bright finish. The main improvements introduced are the following:
• Instead of a flat top rim, the cylindrical tank has a rounded off edge which considerably increases its rigidity.
• One of the main new features is the bottom of the tank, TIG-welded to the tank body to provide the food safety guarantees required by the competent authorities. The special shape of the bottom allows to fully discharge it as honey is conveyed to the bottom lowest point where the discharge gate is located.
• The ball bearing bushing on which the centre shaft rotates is made from stainless steel.
• The three painted steel legs are much sturdier and have a completely redesigned shape.Another interesting optional feature, now available, is an efficient manual drive fitted with metal helical gears sealed in a box, with freewheel and brake.
This helical drive is offered as an alternative on all
manual honey extractors, while it is standard on
Ø 630mm and larger extractors.
